Meet the Woodworker
Christian Amstutz
Hi, I’m Christian Amstutz, the face behind Amstutz Woodworking. I developed my love for woodworking growing up on a citrus farm in the Bolivian Jungle. From a young age my dad taught me not only essential woodworking skills, but more importantly, the true meaning of craftsmanship. I moved to the United States to attend college when I was 18 but my love for woodworking has persisted. For the last 15 years I’ve been in the woodworking business designing and building cabinets, furniture, custom Airstream interiors, entire kitchens, and custom wood accent walls. When my wife was pregnant with our first child, I decided to take a leap of faith and follow my dream of starting my own business, Amstutz Woodworking.
My favorite part of custom woodworking is discovering the client's personal needs and fulfilling it beyond their expectations. I am often asked about a specific area of the home that a client can’t seem to find a piece of furniture to fit -- perhaps an heirloom that needs an irreplaceable match or maybe a kitchen that needs an update with a personal touch. I have developed a passion for building custom pieces to fit my customers' unique needs and spaces and matching distinctive woodworking designs with the visions of my clients.
